Carte Blanche unveils plans for BLE 2014

5/8/14 Hot off the press is the announcement that Carte Blanche has signed the global licensing deal for Britain’s Got Talent Winner, Pudsey the Dog.

Pudsey the Dog shot to fame in 2012 as the winner of the sixth series of Britain’s Got Talent with an astonishing 14.5m viewers watching his triumph.  Since then, Pudsey the Dog has become a four-legged phenomenon who is now one of the world’s most famous dogs. Carte Blanche will create and build the Pudsey the Dog brand drawing on the company’s wealth of expertise in creating much loved characters that stand the test of time and bringing the character brand to life using the unique asset of an experienced in-house team of artists.  The partnership with Pudsey the Dog will see Carte Blanche create a new range of plush, gifts and greeting cards as well as representing Pudsey the Dog globally across an entire consumer product and digital portfolio.

Carte Blanche is best known for Tatty Teddy, the cute grey bear with the blue nose and the signature of the ‘Me to You’ brand.  At BLE 2014, Carte Blanche will be looking to continue to grow the strong apparel business, support existing licensees and explore new opportunities.

Building on the 20 year heritage of the ‘Me to You’ brand, Carte Blanche has successfully extended its brand proposition with the Tiny Tatty Teddy nursery range.  Capitalising on the strength of the existing ‘Tiny Tatty Teddy’ licensing programme, Carte Blanche will be supporting existing licensees and seeking new opportunities.
